How to Give Up Sooner

I decided to article this section, so here is the link: https://weekly-seeds.bstatic.i...

In the past, 50% of children died

This is another article I read this week. I want to highlight one stat that I thought was fascinating in it. In the past, historians estimate that about 50% of children died before they reached the age of 15. For example, this was the case in France in the entirety of the 1600s. Today, this statistic is as low as 4.4% globally. This level of progress is just amazing, and it can be better. This number is as low as 0.47% in Europe, just think about the difference. The article goes into more detail about the whole topic; it was a fun read.

Gratitude

To tie this whole thing together, in the how to give up post, I used Tai Lopez's knowledge meme. There is a reason I did so this week: I heard the story of the meme from the horse's mouth. I watched this podcast interview where Tai narrates the story of how the video came to be. Now, I don't know if that is the first time he shared this, but it was my first time hearing it. It was awesome hearing him explain how such a dumb post had so much thought put behind it; I was surprised by how knowledgeable and successful he is.

I remember watching this in college and thinking to myself it was so dumb and hating the internet for it. It launched a trend that was so annoying, but today, I'm grateful for the internet and for what people like him enabled others to do with it. If it wasn't for the internet, so many things we take for granted wouldn't be here today. I, for once, wouldn't know how important KNOWLDGE is.
