Something I learned

Not much happened work-wise this week. I still hate Python, so really nothing new happened.

MAC Spoofing

On my flight back from New York, I used MAC spoofing to get infinite free WiFi. I was really surprised that such a simple technique still works today. What was cool was that I got it working on my phone. I tweeted about how I did it in this click-baity thread.

Gratefulness

I got sick after my New York trip this week, so that wasn't great. However, I felt good enough to attend the last day of Stripe's conference. By complete luck (and waiting in line), I got to meet Stripe's current CEO, Patrick Collison. Our conversation was very brief. I told him how much we enjoyed using Stripe for our current site and how much Radar progressed since we started using it.

I'm grateful I live in the Bay Area, where such encounters are more common than one might think. I'm in the right place at the right time.
